2010 Soldotna Chamber of Commerce Visitor Guide

Make sure you stop by the Soldotna Visitor's Center, located directly on the bank of the world famous Kenai River. You can see the World Record KING SALMON on display there!

It was caught by Soldotna resident, the late Les Anderson, back in 1985. His amazing catch weighed in at 97 lbs. 4 oz. and many speculate that because he waited over 3 hours to actually find a scale capable of getting a weight on this monster, it likely exceeded 100 lbs. when he pulled it from the aquamarine-hued waters of the Kenai RiverWorld Record King Salmon on display at Soldotna Visitor Center in Soldotna Alaska.
