In the 2010 Iditarod, our handler, Kristy Berington, ran a second team from our kennel. This was Kristy's Rookie run to Nome, and she finished the 1,100 mile race in #38th position. She will race the 2011 Iditarod with a team of puppies from our kennel. Kristy is sponsored by Halliburton.

This marks the third season that Kristy will be running dogs with Paul Gebhardt, where she works as a handler in the winter months, as well as working as a part time construction worker with Gebhardt Construction and keeps the cabins in tip top shape for Evy at Aspen Hollow Lodging.
During the 2009 Season, Kristy participated in several mid distance races, which made her fully qualified for Iditarod rules to run the 1,100 mile race to Nome. In addition to the Tustumena 200, Kristy's race experience includes the Klondike 300 - where she was noted for her excellent level of dog care.
In addition to the sponsorship ties to those businesses that are part of the Gebhardt Racing Team and Morning View Kennel Booster Club, Kristy is also sponsored by Halliburton.
